Because,
if the blog goes on any longer I’m going to have to admit that Mike was right about Glee.

if the blog goes on any longer I’m going to have to admit that Mike was right about Glee.

try as I might I can’t juggle all the bowling pins. I sometimes feel like I’m becoming a cliche.Work, family, music. I have all of those things. What I don’t have, right now, is the time to contextualize it all in real time. I find my hours packed from morning ‘till night. And part of the reason I haven’t enjoyed music in the same way this year is every time I’ve heard something I’ve liked, I’ve also felt the guilt that I should share this with everyone and give my take, since I haven’t been posting the way I used to.
Its become harder and harder to want to share those thoughts. I still cherish the moments where just the right song, hits just the right chord in my life. But I , for the moment, feel less inclined to share those moments with the world.

Ok, so I have entirely blown at this blogging thing for a couple of months. I needed some battery recharging time. but I’m totally back. Or at least going to try to be. ANYWAY what I’m doing right now is watching THE VOICE which is a really pretty decent.
For those of you who don’t know anything about this show, basically its your regular singing competition reality show, except the twist is that four “judges” have chosen “teams” and in theory one of them gets to “win” too.
The four judges are Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Cee-Lo Green. This offers me a great opportunity to root for Cee-Lo and against Adam Levine. Both of their two teams seem pretty good. Christina’s team is OK but mostly made up of weaker versions of her, and Blake Shelton’s team is a mess.
ANYWAY. I’ve been hooked by this show, and now I’m going to start talking about it.
I’m going to contribute a few thoughts as I watch tonight and then make a larger post about why I think this show is alright tomorrow.
Well that was remarkably rewarding. And also appropriate given our complete dismissal of that record before it came out.
That was good fun Mike we should do it again. It always seems to work out well. And I’m glad I had someone to share the shock of that ending with.
Time for bed though.
GOODNIGHT!
Its true, Ive never been happy to have made it to the end of the grammys.
I’m utterly shocked. If you had asked me to place a 50 dollar bet on them winning best album, that would have net me 1000000 i wouldn’t have done it.
Were they always going to play the show out?
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not sure it would have made my top five guesses for what song they were going to play.
FUCK this fucking Lady Antebellum song.
I feel like Drake is more on pitch.
Also this is more then a little creepy.
Weirdest thing about this Mick Jagger thing was seeing John Mayer swaying without a shred of rhythm.
Jay Reatard makes this montage? I’m betting no.
The future is definitly in radio.
Mick Jagger, Barbara Striesand and Arcade fire all in in half an hour? I need to go to bed.
I still dont know anything about you.
